Printing Update! And... an Update for Non-US Backers!

Heya folks!
We've got some exciting news! The printer has finished these beauties! WOOHOO! They're currently being packed and freighted to us in the US (as well as being sent to our new fulfillment partner in the UK)!

This portion of the update applies to NON-US BACKERS ONLY. If you are a Backer in the US, feel free to read, but please keep in mind that this portion of the Update does not apply to you.
Hey everyone. Bryce here, coming to you with (finally) some good news.
To catch you up on the situation if you're only just learning about this for the first time: In the last week of April, 2026, we told our now ex-fulfillment partner (for non-US customers) that we were parting ways with them due to 1) a plethora of improperly packaged–and therefore often damaged–books being shipped out of their facility, and 2) a very problematic lack of communication on their part when contacted by us about various concerns and questions. That notification came with us telling them that we would need all our product shipped to our new partner.
In a continuing example of that communication issue, said ex-partners failed to adequately respond to our requests and inquiries for over a month, resulting in the significant delay you, our non-US Backers, have suffered.
SO WHAT'S NEW?
On to the good news I promised above: We now have confirmation that our new fulfillment partner has received our product and has actively been booking it into their system! This means that our new partner may begin on working on the backlog of campaigns affected by this swap. Since this has been an ongoing issue, even when our new partner receives 'Bookshops & Bonedust', fulfillment for this campaign will not begin immediately.
Now... Would you like to know how we finally made this happen after 4+ weeks of lacking communication?
By speaking to our lawyers, who instructed us to send the ex-partner the following email:
And would you believe y'all... In a shocking twist no one could see coming, within a couple of hours we got this email from an Officer of the company:
I'm sorry this Update wasn't "They're shipping!", but I am very glad to be able to say "We're nearly there!" Despite this being something mostly out of our hands, I can't apologize enough for the delay.
Oh and just for good measure, here is the original email we sent back in APRIL starting this request:

I know we've talked about it before, but we continue to get comments and messages from people who wish we had "just let the former non-US partner fulfill the books before switching."

Corrected Dust Jackets!

Hey there everyone!
We hope you're ready for the weekend! Following up on our update HERE, we wanted to share that we've received new and improved dust jackets from the printer! Take a look!
As mentioned in the previous update, the biggest issues we had upon checking these proofs was the blackness saturation of the cloth case, and the swapped embossing + spot UV gloss files. We've since received (and approved) the saturation test, which you can read more up on in our last update HERE!
These new jackets were sent to correct the issue of the file swapping. On our version of Legends & Lattes, the coffee beans on the dust jacket are UV spot glossed, while the bones on the proofs for Bookshops & Bonedust were embossed. The title image, details on the reverse jacket, and details on the spine also got mixed up accidently. The printer has since corrected this; take a look at the comparissons below!

Case Test Samples Received!

Hey all!
Following up on our last update, the proofs arrived and we had some changes we requested the printer correct before beginning final production! In case you missed that (and pictures of the proofs), you can check out that update HERE! One of the issues we noticed immediately is that the saturation of the black on the case of the book was a bit too intense.

We loved how Justin's sketch looked for the cover of Legends & Lattes, so we wanted to make sure the case for Bookshops & Bonedust looked just as good!
Since we received those proofs in, we requested the printer do a blackness saturation test. We're please to say we received those in late last week! Take a look!

Long story short, these were approved immediately. They look incredible and we're thrilled we decided to request the change!
At this point, we're currently looking at a mid-May completion as per our printer. Keep in mind this is just an estimate, and as always, we'll be updating you guys along the way! Thank you so much for your patience - we'll see you in the next one!
Proofs Received! And... An Upcoming Campaign!

Hey everyone!
We've got some exciting news to share! The proofs have arrived! Woohoo!!
A quick note - there will be a number of things changing from these images (more below). There were a handful of mistakes we saw we want to be corrected before the finals are worked on.
Firstly (and the biggest oopsie), our printer swapped the embossing and the UV spot gloss files. On our version of Legends & Lattes, the coffee beans on the dust jacket are UV spot glossed, while the bones on the proofs for Bookshops & Bonedust are embossed. The title image, details on the reverse jacket, and details on the spine also got mixed up accidently.
That being said, the gold foiling on the edges looks wonderful! We love a good shine.
In addition to those files being swapped, we also had some issues with the color, specifically on the end sheets and cover, as well as the physical case of the book. The end sheet/cover color appears to be a little more dull when compared to Legends, so we're asking our printer to look into it.
Very close to perfect, though! In regards to the case for the book, it looks to be a bit too saturated with black ink. We're aiming for more of a lighter sketchbook feel similar to Legends & Lattes. We want to make sure they match as best as possible, so we're currently awaiting some blackness density case tests to arrive!
All in all, we're excited to get these in and get those corrections in place! One step closer! <3
THE ULTIMATE HITCHHIKER'S GUIDE TO THE GALAXY OMNIBUS
This one seemed like something a lot of you guys might like to be aware of!
On May 5th, Wraithmarked will be releasing what we believe could be considered the most ambitious omnibus edition of Douglas Adam's THE HITCHHIKER'S GUIDE TO THE GALAXY series ever produced.
As in not only is it a full-color book, but it's going to include 42 full-color illustrations. And that's JUST the interior art. So add in the Smyth-sewn binding. And acid-free paper. And custom covers. And end sheets. And cloth wrapping. And... Well... You get the picture.
