US Backers: Books Have Been Received; Locking Addresses in 48 Hours! Non-US Folks: a Fulfillment Update! And... a New Campaign from Wraithmarked!

Hi there folks!

This update will be in two parts: one part for our US Backers, and the other for our Non-US backers! We just wanted to take a moment and let you know that books have not only been received by our brand new UK fulfillment partner, but our home office as well! We got these in at the very beginning of September and took some nice pics for you guys. :)

For US Backers!

Following up on our last update, we are just about ready to start sending out the books! To make sure we're ready for fulfillment, we're going to be locking addresses for US backers by Thursday!

You can expect an email from Backerkit today informing you of a 48-hour window to make final changes before they lock. 

A few things to keep in mind:

• If you are expecting a change of address in the next few weeks, either provide your new address or a different permanent address that's close enough for you to pick your package up at.
• When this window expires, we cannot guarantee that we'll be able to change the address before your pledge ships.  
• When your order ships you will get an email with tracking information. Please be aware that it may take a few days for the tracking information to update. 

If you have questions at any point in this process, please send us a message here on Kickstarter or via email at [email protected]. Even though it is rare, it may take between 3-5 business days to respond (though usually faster) and we do not work on holidays or weekends. We appreciate your patience! <3

Now, onto Non-US fulfillment!

Since our last update in August, our new non-US fulfillment partner has officially been shipping packages for us! Woohoo! As mentioned in the previous update, they have a couple campaigns to catch up on prior to fulfilling this one, BUT, Bookshops & Bonedust is next on their docket! We cannot give accurate time estimates for shipping/completion of the current campaign as it's one of our bigger ones; it may be at least 3-4 weeks until they can begin here. 

Rest assured, we'll let you folks know as soon as they're ready to begin! To prepare for that, we have (yet another) address check-in linked below. Please take the time to ensure your address is correct as this campaign is delayed. We continue to get tickets from folks who try to contact us after we've sent out the 48 hour address lock update, and we hate letting them know there's nothing we can do. Please please please double check! If you have a change of address coming up, update your address to a secure secondary address (either a friend or family members house)!

Last up, we wanted to give a brief shout-out to a new Wraithmarked campaign launching in October!

We've had SO many people requesting Frankenstein after we began doing the Classics. Well, the wait is nearly over! Check out the pre-launch page for the campaign HERE! 

This project truly is a labor of love and one very close to our hearts. We hope to do this beloved tale justice!

Books Have Arrived to Our Non-US Fulfillment Partner! US Books Have Arrived in Port!

Hi there folks!

We hope your week is going well so far! Firstly, we wanted to say thank you to those who were able to come say hi to us at GenCon a week ago! We absolutely love seeing folks face-to-face, chatting about upcoming projects, production, and everything in between! If you stopped by, you were also able to check out our Bookshops & Bonedust proofs for yourselves! Hearing folks gush and fawn and retell their reading experience is always so lovely to hear. Also, hearing how divided folks were in regards to which book in the series was their favorite!

Anyway, onto the news! We received word just before we left for the convention that the books arrived safely to our new Non-US fulfillment partner! Heck yes! We're so excited to work with them! <3

We also have confirmed that the books have officially arrived at the New York port! Once they get checked in, they're then loaded onto a truck and sent our way. That will still take a couple weeks, but we wanted you folks to know regardless!

Once we receive the books, we'll be able to inspect them (and share some pics!) and see where we're at with fulfillment. As many of you know, we've received a bunch of delayed projects all at once, so we're fulfilling them in the order they would have originally been fulfilled. This also applies to our Non-US backers. As we have our new Non-US fulfillment partner, they've had to deal with every project arriving at once, so you folks will be seeing some additional delays while our new partner works on fulfilling those campaigns the US has been fulfilling.

Printing Update! And... an Update for Non-US Backers!

Heya folks!

We've got some exciting news! The printer has finished these beauties! WOOHOO! They're currently being packed and freighted to us in the US (as well as being sent to our new fulfillment partner in the UK)! 

For Non-US Backers!

This portion of the update applies to NON-US BACKERS ONLY. If you are a Backer in the US, feel free to read, but please keep in mind that this portion of the Update does not apply to you.

Hey everyone. Bryce here, coming to you with (finally) some good news.

To catch you up on the situation if you're only just learning about this for the first time: In the last week of April, 2026, we told our now ex-fulfillment partner (for non-US customers) that we were parting ways with them due to 1) a plethora of improperly packaged–and therefore often damaged–books being shipped out of their facility, and 2) a very problematic lack of communication on their part when contacted by us about various concerns and questions. That notification came with us telling them that we would need all our product shipped to our new partner.

In a continuing example of that communication issue, said ex-partners failed to adequately respond to our requests and inquiries for over a month, resulting in the significant delay you, our non-US Backers, have suffered.

SO WHAT'S NEW?

On to the good news I promised above: We now have confirmation that our new fulfillment partner has received our product and has actively been booking it into their system! This means that our new partner may begin on working on the backlog of campaigns affected by this swap. Since this has been an ongoing issue, even when our new partner receives 'Bookshops & Bonedust', fulfillment for this campaign will not begin immediately.

Now... Would you like to know how we finally made this happen after 4+ weeks of lacking communication?

By speaking to our lawyers, who instructed us to send the ex-partner the following email:

And would you believe y'all... In a shocking twist no one could see coming, within a couple of hours we got this email from an Officer of the company:

I'm sorry this Update wasn't "They're shipping!", but I am very glad to be able to say "We're nearly there!" Despite this being something mostly out of our hands, I can't apologize enough for the delay.

Oh and just for good measure, here is the original email we sent back in APRIL starting this request:

I know we've talked about it before, but we continue to get comments and messages from people who wish we had "just let the former non-US partner fulfill the books before switching."

Corrected Dust Jackets!

Hey there everyone!

We hope you're ready for the weekend! Following up on our update HERE, we wanted to share that we've received new and improved dust jackets from the printer! Take a look!

As mentioned in the previous update, the biggest issues we had upon checking these proofs was the blackness saturation of the cloth case, and the swapped embossing + spot UV gloss files. We've since received (and approved) the saturation test, which you can read more up on in our last update HERE!

These new jackets were sent to correct the issue of the file swapping. On our version of Legends & Lattes, the coffee beans on the dust jacket are UV spot glossed, while the bones on the proofs for Bookshops & Bonedust were embossed. The title image, details on the reverse jacket, and details on the spine also got mixed up accidently. The printer has since corrected this; take a look at the comparissons below!

With this last correction approved, it should be smooth sailing from here. Our printer will be shipping out 10 more approval copies for us to inspect while they continue printing the interiors. Thanks for stopping by!
