IN REGARDS TO THE POTENTIAL TARIFFS
Hey all, Bryce here. This is a quick one.
As with the last time we went through this situation in 2025, I wanted to let our buyers and Kickstarter Backers who are still awaiting their products know that Wraithmarked Creative will not be instituting any additional fees to cover potential tariff costs.
At this time, it's unclear if there will be new global tariffs, much less what they'll be if they come into being. Regardless, in the event that they happen, please rest assured there will be no surprise fees put in place to cover those costs if you have already purchased a book from Wraithmarked Creative or are awaiting a product from one of our campaigns. We'll manage the additional cost one way or the other.
Here's to hoping these tariffs don't come to fruition, period.
All the best, and thank you, everyone, for your patience while we've navigated the complexities of publishing in 2025/26.

Physical Proofs Shipping Out Soon, a Campaign Check in, and a Wraithmarked Update!

Hey there folks!
We hope you're well and having a great week so far! We have just a small update for you today: we have been notified by the printer that the proof copies of Bookshops and Bonedust will be set to complete near the end of February! Once those complete printing, they'll be shipped over to us in the States, which may take a week or two (weather depending).
Once we have them in-hand, we'll be posting lots of pictures. Excited to have this and Legends and Lattes next to each other at long last! <3
And now... a campaign check in!
We also wanted to take a moment to remind everyone how you can access your pledge. Even though we're still a ways off from fulfillment, it's never a bad idea to hop in to make sure your shipping information is up-to-date! Using the following link, enter the email address that's attached to your Kickstarter account and you should be able to pull your pledge right up!
If you have questions at any point in this process, check out the campaign FAQs and if you need additional help, please send an email to [email protected]. Even though it is rare, it may take us up to 3-5 business days to respond and we do not work on holidays or weekends.
A look behind the curtain...
Typically, we like to show you guys behind the scenes goings on when it comes to book production such as quote requests, a look at the interior art and merch goodies offered during the campaign, maybe even an author signing - that kind of stuff! However, when we can, we also like to let you folks know that we are still a small, independent company with a handful of dedicated employees wanting to make waves in the publishing world. We've come a long way from when we ran our very first campaign, which brings us to today...
We are officially moving into our first warehouse! No more garages or storage units! WOOHOO!
This may not be the most exciting news for some, but for us, it was a looong time coming. We are so excited to begin this new journey in a new location, and we've already started moving our things over! We now have a loading dock! (Like I said, very exciting for us)
That being said, during this process, our support and responses will be a little longer than normal as it's all-hands-on-deck for the move. We're anticipating things to return to normal later next week, but keep in mind, we may have a slight backlog to get through. If you have questions at any point in this process, check out the campaign FAQs and if you need additional help, please send an email to [email protected].
See you in the next one!
Physical Proofs in Production!

Hey Everyone!
This will be a quick update for y'all today, but we just got word from our printer that production of the physical proof copies is underway. Depending on their existing workload, this can take a few weeks to complete, but once complete, they'll get sent to us for approval.
When we get them, if we need to make any adjustments, we'll let them know before starting the full print run. More on that once we get the proofs in hand, so stay tuned, we're coming into the final stretch!
A Special THANK YOU! And... Campaign Check In!

Hi there folks!
Firstly, apologies for the copy/paste nature to this part of the update as we have lots of campaigns to touch on! We just wanted to update everyone and say...
THANK YOU FOR COMING BY OUR BOOTH AND SAYING HELLO. <3
Dragonsteel Nexus was a wonderful experience for all of us - this was our first time vending at this convention and we had no idea what to expect. I think I speak for the whole Wraithmarked crew when I say we were all blown away by the support and love y'all shared with us. We had so many of you come by, tell us where you heard of us from, what campaigns you backed, what you were looking forward to, and lots of folks who had no idea we were gonna be there! We saw some new faces (hello if you late pledged to this campaign!) and chatted with any and everyone. The whole trip was a blast!
Thank you again for making our first Dragonsteel Nexus the best convention we've ever been to!
The Wraithmarked booth! Still setting up, but lookin good!

Eira signing a copy of her book 'Run Like Hell' for a fan, me chatting (dissociating), and the true hero of the convention: the white sugar-free can in the bottom of the picture. The true savior of Dragonsteel!
Now for a campaign check-in...
Over the weekend, we received our quote for the proof run as well as the main print run for this campaign (you can read more about that process in our last update HERE). We're excited to get this ball rollin' - the quotes have been approved!
Please also be aware that as we enter into the holiday season, many of us will be out of the office. We will address tickets in the order they were received, so please have some extra patience with us during this time! Thank you! <3
A Peek Behind the Curtain: the Dust Jacket and Quote Requests!

Hey there folks!
One of the last pieces of work we do to complete the design of these books is the dust jacket, and for this series, we wanted to keep the lovely, warm, and cozy feel that the first book encompassed so well. Take a look below!
Dust Jacket Design.
Keep in mind, this imagewon't include the gloss elements the first book had simply because that's not how the file needs to be set up for the printer. Not to worry though - we'll absolutely be including those elements in the final version of the books!
Despite the delays, as we get closer to fulfillment, the excitement grows! We're looking forward to receiving proofs of these and sharing them with you all! <3
And speaking of proofs...
We always have folks interested in learning about the process of making some of their favorite books a reality, so today, we wanted to share an aspect that often gets overlooked: quote requests!
A more bureaucratic portion of book-making, quote requests can often take a few weeks of back-and-forth before this stage of production is finalized. Once our intermediary has a page count and all production files are ready, they can then gather the specs for materials, type of printing, quantities, etc., and put together a quote request!
From there, we'll get a quote back in approximately 7-14 days, look it over, and ask for any changes. Once the quote looks good, our intermediary will run the prices past Bryce/Wraithmarked, and we approve it! They then award the job and upload the print files to the printer's FTP.
A schedule for the proofs is then requested, then the printer produces those, sends them our way, and we approve and/or request changes. Once that's settled, we get a better idea of the completion schedule!
As mentioned, a lot of back and forth! We've submitted this quote request not too long ago, so we're just awaiting the printer's response and we can go from there gathering specs for the books!
We hope this update was enlightening for some of you! We'll see you in the next one!
